Hello and welcome to my site. My name is Dianne, but most people call me De or DD. My two main passions in life are - Art & Spirituality. I have always loved colour! To draw and create. As a kid all I wanted to be, was an Artist. Then as a young adult, I developed an interest in the esoteric fields and I have had a life-long passion for spiritual & metaphysical subjects ever since.

This began with an interest in Astrology around the age of 12. I read everything I could on the subject and was amazed by what I uncovered the more I looked into this complex and fascinating tool for self-development.

Years later, I completed further studies in Astrology with Astro Logos (Bernadette Brady & Darrelyn Gunsberg). 
 

Around this time, I was introduced by chance to a modality called ‘Reiki’. I was intrigued from the moment I heard of it. It sounded familiar to me and in my first Reiki session I was in awe of the beautiful, calming and warm energy flowing from the practitioner to me. I knew then I wanted to learn this and do this for others. This wonderful lady, Eva, went on to be my Reiki teacher and I thank her to this day for her gift and purity of spirit.

For over a decade, I worked in the Print & Design industry, while also running my own Reiki & Massage business.I have also worked as a Volunteer Reiki Practitioner with young people at a Drug & Alcohol Respite Facility and with Cancer & MND patients. 

I completed a Diploma in Counselling, to assist with my Astrology readings and in 2017 I created DD Healing Arts. This was the year I also started to paint. I absorbed all I could - about different mediums, techniques, brushes and paper. For the last few years, I have worked as a Support Worker, specialising in Art sessions and Reiki.
